With a dance and fine art background, Ariel is excited to deliver the meaning of Caged Birds Sing through movements, beats, and colors. With her team, Ariel looks forward to bringing this story to life, to connect, to inspire, and to bring awareness to our current world.

Producer
Jada D'Janae
As producer of Caged Birds Sing, Jada is excited to combine so many different forms of creative expression into a film that discusses real-world issues. Jada hopes that Caged Birds Sing will help audiences understand just how much courage and bravery it takes to create art.

Director of Photography
Annsley Helenhouse
Annsley Helenhouse is a cinematography student at Chapman University who grew up dancing and acting, experiences that sparked her passion for visual storytelling through performance and movement. As Director of Photography on this project, she is excited to combine her love for dance and filmmaking to create a visually compelling story while continuing to pursue a career focused on filming dance and performance.

Unit Production Manager
Olivia Shull
Olivia Shull is a Creative Producing student at Chapman University, who is excited to be a part of this amazing project as the Unit Production Manager. Olivia would like to work in film or television development and wishes to tell meaningful stories, like Caged Birds Sing, through her work. She is excited to be a part of a story that emphasizes the importance of art in various forms and the way it can be used to make a statement and take action.

Jaya Wollenberger
Jaya Wollenberger is a Production Designer at Chapman University, based in Orange County. She is currently studying at Chapman University for Animation and Visual Effects, as well as a minor in Production Design. As the production designer of Caged Birds Sing, she is excited to bring the world to life and work together with her crew to show that art rises above oppression.

Vivian Hong is a Vietnamese American filmmaker from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is based in Orange County and is currently pursuing a BFA in Film Production at Chapman University. As the editor of Caged Birds Sing, she is excited to work on a women-led story about resilience in the state of oppression, hoping to draw attention to the importance of art in societies today.

Sound Designer
Aaron Myers
Aaron Myers is a seasoned sound veteran with experience in all things sound, and is eager to Co- Sound Design this exceptional project. It is an honor and a privilege to help bring Caged Birds to life and give the audience an auditory experience they will remember.
